Gilsonite, also known as Natural Asphalt or Natural Bitumen, to serve a wide range of industries including oil and drilling, asphalt and road paving, steel and metal casting, inks, paints and varnishes and chemical products. Gilsonite can be used in shoe industry as shiner, protector of surface against the humidity and dust also make flexibility due solid oil content. Gilsonite or natural asphalt also can be used in ink industry to be used as stabilizer of ink and increase the stickiness on the paper.
Our mine, factory, and warehouses are located in west of Iran at Kermanshah Province, Iran, and the headquarters of our company is located in Tehran with a branch in Kermanshah, Iran. At present, our company produces three grades of Gilsonite for our customer's based on their requirements.
1- Gilsonite lump with ash percentage between 0 and 25.
2- Granulated Gilsonite with a diameter of 30 to 40 meshes and ashes between 0 and 25 percent.
3- Gilsonite micronized powder with a diameter of 80 to 400 mesh and ashes between 0 and 25 percent.
